Outdoor Planting: Sow seeds thinly 2.5cm deep direct in growing beds in rows 12" (30cm) apart. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle, thin to 6" (15cm) apart. Lift the turnips when they are the size of a golf ball. Sow in August for turnip tops, do not thin.
