In each planting position, scoop out a hole in the compost large enough to accommodate the roots of the young plant and carefully insert one plant into each hole. Take care to avoid any root damage. Gently work compost around plant roots, and water well taking care not to over water which may cause leaching of nutrients or water logging. Place in a sunny position.
Before planting, water thoroughly, however avoid water logging of the bag. During the first week after planting the growing bag will not require further watering. Each week gradually increase the amount of watering. The bag may need to be watered up to twice daily during hot summer conditions.
